Improvement in glycemic control following a diabetes education intervention is associated with change in diabetes distress but not change in depressive symptoms

This study found that patients with type 2 diabetes experienced a reduction in 'diabetes distress' as a result of an education intervention which improved glycemic control. Symptoms of depression were not reduced as a result of the intervention.
